Love List | Being Human, Lavender Lattes & Urban Gardens

I think this may have been one of the laziest weeks of my life. Not only did I lack motivation for working out/yoga but I spent quite a bit of time curled up on the couch binge watching netflix. YIKES! I spent all of last week sick with a terrible cold and decided to extend my relaxation this week recovering. I typically am a go go go type of person always focusing on things after work so it was nice to do some mindless relaxing. I did find a few things that inspired me this week.

Being Human: Okay, so this is my true guilty pleasure. I am a huge SciFi geek and this BBC show is all about vampires, ghosts, and werewolves. With a lot of British television it can be kind of cheesey, but its incredibly witty and entertaining. If you're a fan of things like the vampire diaries, true blood, supernatural, you have got to check this show out. (ps, this is the netflix binge watching I was referring to above ;)) Also, can we talked about the eye candy that is Aidan Turner (aka Kili from The Hobbit) *swoon*

Hanson's 20 Year Reunion: I have to say that I was experiencing all the feels with this video below. If you were a young girl of the 90s you'll swoon even harder than you did back then!

The Game of Life: At one of the many awesome coffee shops in the greater Cincinnati Area you can find all sorts of unique aspects to them. Bean Haus Bakery & Cafe has a huge stack of board games just calling out to your nostalgia. I decided to partake in a game of life and it was so much fun. I lived in a trailer, made hardly any money, and had 2 kids, retired with only 20 grand to my name. Oh, I also lost my job a total of 3 times.

My first garden harvest: You guys! In my urban backyard in the city I have a small patch where I planted sweet potatoes, bell peppers, eggplant, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers! The cucumbers are out of control! I got all of these in one single pick. Time for some refreshing green juice and my spicy cucumber salad.

Lavender Vanilla Lattes: Next time you're at your local coffee shop, ask if they have any lavender to put in to your drink of choice. Preferably with some almond milk and vanilla and you will not be disappointed. P.S. Its better warm, but I know its a scorcher this summer!

Cheers to the weekend, loves!
